Carbyon Go

The world's fastest direct air capture machine

On September 17, Carbyon launched Carbyon GO. The machine that capture
the past, for a circular future.

At the High Tech Campus Eindhoven, we powered up the machine that is able to capture our past to build a sustainable future. Relive the moment, watch the recap, and explore how Carbyon Go works.

carbyon GO: The fast CO₂ catcher

Carbyon GO is Carbyon’s first Direct Air Capture module and the fastest in the world. Its unique sorbent has a massive surface area, reaching 90% CO₂ saturation in just 100 seconds. 200× faster than today’s solutions. This machine captures 3 tons of CO₂ per year, equal to the work of 320 trees and is only our first test machine. Future machines will be even more compact and efficient.

Small, Simple, Scalable

Carbyon GO modules are identical and easy to mass-produce, ship, and stack. By combining thousands of them at renewable energy sites worldwide, we unlock true large-scale carbon removal.

This is our Field Lab

Here in Eindhoven, we test our first machines in real conditions: wind, sun, rain, and shifting climates. By tracking every breath of air and every watt of power, we fine-tune the design, cut costs, and prove performance. Together with partners, we demonstrate what captured CO₂ can do.

Why capture CO₂ from air?

CO₂ levels have risen to 422 ppm — the highest in 2 million years. Even if emissions stopped today, the planet keeps warming. To stay below 2°C, we must both cut emissions, provide industries with alternatives to fossil CO₂ and remove what’s already in the air.

What happens after capture?

Store it: Safely lock CO₂ underground or in concrete, creating permanent negative emissions.

Reuse it: Feed crops, produce e-fuels, grow algae or cure concrete. Replacing fossil CO₂ with circular carbon.
